Who we are

This website is run by Recurve Ltd, a UK consultancy working with places on public procurement, purposeful capital and place leadership. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@recurve.co.

What we collect and why

  • Details you give us in a form (for example the toolkit waitlist, the International Readiness Check or a report download): your name, work email, organisation, and anything you tick or type. We use these to send what you asked for and to reply to any request you make. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to you.
  • Readiness Check answers, when you submit a form after completing the check. A summary of your answers is stored with your details so we can follow up in context. If you tick the box to share answers anonymously, we receive your role and answers only, with no name, email or place.
  • Marketing emails, only if you tick the box asking for them. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.
  • Website analytics. We use Google Analytics and HubSpot tracking to understand how the site is used and which pages lead people to get in touch. These set cookies.
  • Booking a conversation. If you book through our calendar link, Google processes the booking details you enter.

Who we share it with

We use HubSpot (customer relationship management, hosted in the EU), Google (analytics, calendar and email) and Squarespace (website hosting) to run this site and respond to you. They process data on our behalf under contract. Some of these providers may transfer data outside the UK under recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. We don't sell your data. We will only pass your details to a partner organisation if you ask us to.

How long we keep it

We keep contact details for as long as we have an active relationship with you, and review records we haven't been in touch about for two years. If you unsubscribe, we keep a note of your email address so that we don't contact you again.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@recurve.co and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We'll update this page if the way we use personal data changes, and change the date at the top.
